I had a wonderful trip this past week to Vermont. I spoke to the Shelburne Historical Society at the Pierson library on Thurs. evening. My cousin Richard and I met two of our Peirson cousins, Ken and Deb. They had lots of interesting information for me about the Peirson family. Friday, Richard and I went north into Canada along the Richelieu river to see where Ille au Nois, and Fort St. Jean were and where Fort Chambly still stands. That afternoon we went by Shelburne Farms to see West cemetery where Moses and Rachel are buried. Then on Sat. we went to Williamstown Vt. where I talked to the Genealogical Society of Vermont.
