Willis J. Powell

I am working on a new book about my 3rd great grandfather, Willis J. Powell. He was quite a character. He discovered a way to gentle horses, then went to Mexico in the 1820s and 30s to teach the large land owners how to do this. He spent 2 1/2 years traveling throughout Mexico,  then spent another 10 years in Mexico City. He could speak 5 languages when he went to Mexico, then said he learned 11 more including ancient Aztec. Hope to have it finished by the end of the year.
